CRICKET - The Australian cricket teams emotional journey following the death of Phillip Hughes was personified by David Warner (pictured) on day one of the first Test in Adelaide.

Warner was struggling badly in the days leading up to the Test and initially gave himself little chance of playing.

After spending plenty of time with the team psychologist on the weekend, Warner was able to find a way of getting his emotions in check as he got Australia off to a rousing start to the match with his 145 off just 163 balls
