NRL - Reluctant South Sydney skipper John Sutton (pictured) is just one win away from joining the ranks of Rabbitohs premiership captains.

Sutton became Souths most capped player earlier this season and he'll join the likes of the legendary John Sattler if Souths get over the Dogs on Sunday.

It took a considerable amount of persuasion from the coach to get Sutton to take on the captaincy but, if anything Sutton believes its made him a better player.
